Ben’s earliest moment of intrigue with the accommodation industry came on a family holiday, staying in a modest motel after years of camping trips. In the bathroom sat tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash — replenished daily. A small detail, but one that left a lasting impression.
That curiosity later developed into a career across some of Tasmania’s most awarded properties, including The Henry Jones Art Hotel, MACq 01 hotel and Saffire-Freycinet, tasmania's first ultra-luxury lodge.
